Moroccan Decorative Daisy Babouche Slippers are handmade using age-old techniques and simple hand tools in a small workshop on the outskirts of Marrakech.
The leather is first dyed by hand and dried under the hot Moroccan sun. Female artisans then create the 70s-inspired daisy floral pattern by finely cutting the top layer of leather to reveal the natural leather below.
These classic pointed-toe slipper shoes have a firm leather sole which allows them to be worn outside in dry conditions as well as indoors. They are more hardwearing than our soft-soled, round-toe babouche and therefore suitable for homes with tiled and rough wooden floors.
